Heading out of town for Labor Day Weekend? Check out our top 5 not-so-common things to bring with you on your road trip that is guaranteed to come in handy.
1) Air Freshener (especially if you have kids)
If you’re going to be locked in a car for an extended period of time with anyone, we highly recommend bringing an air freshener. Once people start taking off their shoes and the aroma of socks is permeating around the vehicle, you’ll thank us for this tip.
2) Portable car garbage can
To avoid your car looking like a tailgate party when you reach your destination, we highly recommend bringing a portable garbage can. This will come in handy with food/snack wrappers, water bottles, and just about anything else that shouldn’t remain in your car after the trip.
3) Baby wipes
These will come in handy to wipe your face, hands, and even as a quick refresher.
BONUS: If you’re stopping at a gas station in the middle of nowhere and there’s no toilet paper? You’ll thank us for having your handy-dandy baby wipes to save the day.
Do everyone in the car a favor and give yourself a quick swipe under the armpits with deodorant at some point during the trip. If you don’t have deodorant, hopefully, your driver read this list and brought an air freshener.
5) Phone Charger cables
To avoid everyone in the car going insane, be sure to bring phone charger cables. This could literally save lives 🙂
BONUS: If your car only has 1 USB port, bring a portable charger so multiple people can charge their phones at once.
